Princeton v. Yale is one of the oldest rivalries in college football, dating back to 1873. The first six times the teams met they played under early football rules which are not like today’s rules. Beginning in 1883 they began playing under rules more familiar to those in force today.
Princeton-Yale has always been a great rivarly and the covers of their football program covers show this. Exhibit “A” is the program cover from the 1926 meeting. Take a look at the program cover and guess where the game was played. One of our all-time favorite covers.
