The 1948 program for the game played at Dartmouth features the Dartmouth Indian. The Indian was featured a lot in the era before political correctness, when Dartmouth teams were known as “The Indians”. They are referred to as “The Big Green” now.
Programs with Dartmouth Indians on the cover are some of the most interesting of all the ivy league programs.
